Graduated Kalamazoo Central High School in 1945, and received his BS and MA degrees in Education from Western Michigan University. Winds light and variable. Loving father of James. Tom really liked Jim and teaching him things with Chris. Sympathies to all of Jims family at this time. Jim's family moved from Detroit to the Rogers Park neighborhood. Jim believed deeply in the importance of service: church council at Bethlehem Lutheran and Christ Lutheran; adult Sunday School teacher; church choir; organizing member of the City of Wyoming Tree Commission.
